Serengetti, Tanzania

Our jeep broke down many miles from anyplace and as our driver was repairing it (which took about 3 hours), a group of young Massai stopped in. They'd obviously seen many westerners drive by, but we were probably the first to actually stop there. They spent a couple of hours with us checking out all of the neat things we'd brought and our odd hair and fat bellies. One of them was curious about our camera, so I showed him how to look through it. As he looked, I hit the shutter and this is the picture he took. When he heard the shutter click, he flinched, so immediately after this shot was taken his friends here started to laugh and make fun of him.
